Arju’s Journey from Pestalozzi International to Practicing Law
Arju’s life transformed when she joined the Pestalozzi Indian Village in 2006. Growing up, she saw firsthand the limitations girls faced in her community, but Pestalozzi gave her the foundation to dream beyond these restrictions. After graduating in 2014, Arju pursued a law degree at Kathmandu School of Law and is now a licensed lawyer in Nepal, advocating for justice and equality.
Her experience at Pestalozzi taught her independence, resilience, and self-respect, values she holds close. Reflecting on her childhood, Arju fondly remembers the friendships she made and the support that has lasted beyond Pestalozzi. Today, she contributes her time to Pestalozzi International, supporting students in need and dreaming of one day sponsoring children herself.
Recently, Arju was accepted into the University of Amsterdam to study International Tax Law.
She passionately advocates for education, seeing it as the key to societal change, and she urges donors to continue supporting Pestalozzi. Her journey is a testament to the power of education and determination in creating change.
